Our Company Staff:

• Richard Rampy Birkman

  Chief Executive Officer
  
  A third generation roofing contractor, Rick Birkman is president & CEO of Texas Roofing Company and began operations in Austin in June of 1995. He has been involved in commercial roofing for over 20 years and in the Central Texas area for over fifteen years. He is also active in the industry on a local and statewide level as the president of the Roofing Contractor's Association of Texas. Additionally he is a past board member of the American Subcontractor's Association of Texas and a member of the Contractor's Roundtable. Furthermore, Rick is a certified commercial & residential roofing contractor as tested and certified by the Roofing Contractor Association of Texas-Certificate-#25.





• Gary Mears

  Vice-President & General Superintendent
  
  Gary Mears is Vice-President and General Superintendent. He is responsible for all field operations and has been in the roofing and sheet metal business for over 25 years. He comes to us from a large roofing contractor where he was responsible for all sheet metal operations. Previously, he was the General Superintendent for 10 years at one of the largest roofing contractors in the state. Gary has been with the company since its inception.





• David Nance

  CFO & Vice-President
  
  A native Austinite and University of Texas graduate, David has been with the company since 1996. He heads up the Administrative Division of the company and oversees day to day operations.





• Glenda Stringfellow

  Office Manager
  
  Glenda Stringfellow is the corporate office manager and has been with the company since September of 1995, shortly after operations began. In administering our main office, she is responsible for making sure that the day to day operations of the company run smoothly. Often times she will be the first person with whom our customers come in contact when they call us on the phone. With her helpful attitude and professional manner, she insures that the company's first impression is a positive one.





• Jorge Olvera

  Sheet Metal Shop Foreman
  
  Jorge Olvera is the sheet metal shop foreman and brings 30 years of experience to his craft. He plays an integral part in every facet of our field operations and has the duty of making sure that all of our materials are fabricated correctly and according to the job specifications. No material leaves his shop without his personal inspection. This special care saves us time and money, which is passed on to our customers in the form of lower prices.
